  •  I believe Ed works very hard for CD7, truly listens to his constituents, and to issues that effect them.  Congressman Perlmutter and his staff addressed an issue of PTSD that a neighbor of mine was facing.  He had been called back for another tour of duty in Iraq.  This young man had seen buddies blown up and had been personally shot, as they discovered a bullet hole in his bullet proof vest. His mother was in Australia, and panicked as he was supposed to report for duty Monday.  I believe it was a Saturday that I heard the news.  I contacted a staff member by phone, and Congressman Perlmutter's office began immediate work to get him discharged and the help he needed.   This young man was discharged as a result of Congressman Perlmutter's office and staff's immediate response.  He had been suicidal, and his mother could not get back in time to help.  This is just one story, as I know Congressman Perlmutter has worked hard on many, many issues, not only with the military, healthcare, education and development.  Thank you for the opportunity to endorse Congressman Perlmutter.
