Perlmutter tours Colfax businesses, touts biz lending plan

AURORA | A tattoo parlor, a Mexican restaurant and a flower shop were a few of the local businesses that U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Golden, visited Friday.
Perlmutter, who is running for re-election this year, toured House of Ink, La Cueva, and House of Flowers, among other businesses on East Colfax Avenue in Aurora as part of a local business tour. The tour was intended to gauge how business owners are weathering the troubled economy, and to determine if they need more assistance from the federal government.
