Perlmutter, Coffman introduce bank forbearance bill

U.S. Reps. Ed Perlmutter and Mike Coffman have introduced a bill that would temporarily allow small banks with assets totaling less than $10 billion to amortize commercial real estate losses over a seven-year period, instead of writing them down all at once, the Colorado lawmakers said on Monday.
