AURORA | Blindness is a battle that Eugene Vaughan wages daily, but he never surrenders. Vaughan was a U.S. Marine in Vietnam when he lost his eyesight, and is now a pastor and a guidance counselor, goes on mission trips abroad, and does carpentry work in his spare time.
