Aurora gets $436K to house homeless vets

AURORA | U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Golden, gave a $436,272 federal grant to the Aurora Housing Authority Friday to help homeless veterans get off Aurora’s streets and into permanent housing.
Perlmutter, state legislators, and Aurora City Council members attended the check presentation ceremony held outside of the Aurora Housing Authority building.
